“Startup Xpress” is an initiative to nurture and promote innovation-led entrepreneurship in Schools in Odisha. This is a step towards scouting and supporting tinkerers to turn into successful innovators of tomorrow. Startup Express was a series of Innovation Bootcamps in selected schools of Odisha. The Startup Xpress camps at the selected schools were geared up with adequate promotions and awareness for the students to attend a One-Day Programme on :
- Ideation (02 Hours), which brings forth a completely new world of Design Thinking and educates the participants to find solutions for problems with best-in-class tools & pedagogical resources
- Journey of Innovation (02 Hours), which sensitizes the participants on various aspects of innovation, mind-mapping, emerging technologies, innovation roadmap, product development, intellectual property, and introduction to entrepreneurship.
The Bootcamps were held across 19 districts of Odisha at 35 schools. 3220 students participated and 318 innovators were identified wherein 1272 ideas were selected. The top 10 Teams were felicitated at Startup Mela 2023.
