Brief about the Programme-
The objective of this workshop was to sensitize women-led startups on the benefits of registering in the GeM portal and the various perks available for them in the platform to sell their products. This is an essential step towards facilitating and encouraging Women-Led Startups for taking their innovations to the market. The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Workshop was designed to sensitize and enlighten Startups about the online platform created for public procurement in India.
The workshop commenced with an introduction and overview of the Government e-Marketplace platform built by the Government of India for public procurement and was joined by 39 participants.
