On November 18, 2025, the MSME Department, Government of Odisha, successfully conducted a focused workshop on Bill Discounting & Quality Certifications in Rourkela under the RAMP program. The event engaged 50 stakeholders and provided essential insights into unlocking working capital through TReDS bill discounting via Invoicemart, alongside practical pathways to achieve ISO, LEAN, and ZED certifications for enhanced operational efficiency and market competitiveness.
Led by Shri Shyama Prasad (NPC), the session covered LEAN methodologies for waste reduction and detailed ZED and ISO frameworks for quality and sustainability. Shri Akash Sahu from Invoicemart demonstrated how MSMEs can convert unpaid invoices into immediate working capital, addressing critical liquidity challenges. District officials emphasized the dual importance of financial accessibility and quality standards for scaling businesses and entering competitive markets.
The workshop concluded with a commitment from district administration and RAMP-SPIU to continue supporting MSMEs through such initiatives, fostering an ecosystem of growth, compliance, and innovation in Rourkela.
