Odisha STARTUP UTSAVV aims to bring together key stakeholders, including Startups, Incubators, Academic Institutes, and various contributors, to showcase their successes, share insights, and chart the way forward for sustained growth.
The annual Awards and Recognition event celebrated remarkable achievements in the dynamic world of startups and innovation, acknowledging outstanding contributions in various categories. The accolades for startups included the prestigious Student-led Startup of the Year, highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit within academic circles, and the Women-led Startup of the Year, recognizing the significant role of female leaders in the startup ecosystem. The Emerging Startups of the Year category aimed to showcase promising ventures on the rise, while the accolade for a Startup creating international presence acknowledged those making a global impact.
The felicitation categories for Incubators featured awards for Successful Incubators of the Year, acknowledging their track record in nurturing successful ventures, Supportive Incubators of the Year, recognizing those providing crucial assistance to startups, and Emerging Incubators of the Year, highlighting rising stars in the incubation space. The event also showcased the commitment to fostering innovation among students, with awards such as Seed Funding to Top Ten Ideas (Startup Yatra) and Cash Award to School Student Innovators (Startup Xpress), encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Moreover, the ceremony celebrated the achievements of the O Hub, with special recognition for Felicitating the New Incubates, acknowledging the latest additions to their innovative ecosystem. The top three innovators of the Pre-incubation phase were also honored, underscoring the importance of nurturing and supporting early-stage ideas. Overall, the event served as a platform to applaud and inspire the vibrant entrepreneurial community and its vital contributors.
