It also boosts the facilitation of easy availability of products/by-products/waste generated by the mother industries to the MSM Entrepreneurs for further value addition.

The rules aims to enable the recovery and/or reuse of useful material from e-waste, thereby reducing the hazardous wastes destined for disposal and ensuring the environmentally sound management of all types of waste of electrical and electronic equipment.

facilitate collection and recycle of plastic waste.
promote use of plastic waste for road construction as per Indian Road Congress guidelines or energy recovery, or waste to oil etc. for gainful utilization of waste and also address the waste disposal issue; to entrust more responsibility to waste generators, namely payment of user charge as prescribed by the local authority, collection and handing over of waste by the institutional generator, event organizers.

Considerable efforts would be made to fulfill the demand-supply gap and create a scope for the production of high-quality raw materials and general employment opportunities with sustainability for the generation of income leading to poverty alleviation. The focus will be given to intensifying beneficiary mobilization for better absorption of technology extension services and benefiting from the market interface.
